„Real“ instruments are worth their proverbial salt. I have a special faible for guitars. My first guitar teacher was Fritz Puppl (guitar player in the band „City“), later Fred Baumann (Günter Fischer Band) and „Eddi“ Sadowski.

For soft, melancholic sounds concert guitars with gut strings are best, for example this Rodrigues (right), an old, sentimental Spanish guitar.

From the many guitars that stayed with me in several bands, only the Yamaha L-15 A is left. It is one of the first acoustic guitars from Yamaha (left). Shortly before I moved to West Germany, I received it from my „Bona Dea“ band member Rainer Friebe in exchange for my Fender guitar, which thus stayed behind in the former GDR.
