Business and private life often can’t be separated in my job. There is a constant humming, tingling and rattling around me. And when I have a new idea, then no matter what time it is:

It's studio time all over!

And the four relentless worries are always there: phone, cell phone, fax and mail

But:
To tune out, turn off and relax is very important!

Everybody should have his or her very own methods for this, to let the Chi flow happily.

Musician, song writer, composer, producer

During my „amateur years“, I played in lots of bands in Berlin (like „Medium“, „Scat“, „Mythos“, „Prolog“, …). We all were great idealists with a lot of enthusiasm, but few performances - and of course not much money. The biggest problem for us were the instruments, which could only be obtained piece by piece at high costs and with foreign money (very risky!). Regularly we were thrown out of our rehearsal rooms because of too many decibels. Nevertheless, it was a great time and we had lots of fun.

But then it really started …

1982

• Studied at the „Hochschule für Musik Hans Eisler“ in Berlin – composing, guitar, piano, arranging. At the same time guitar player in the band „Express“ - radio and TV productions, tours through all so-called socialistic countries (ČSSR, USSR, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria).

1983

• Collaboration with Petra Janu (#1 rock queen in the former ČSSR).

1984

• Vocal training by Mrs. Gendris
• Founding of the guitar duo „Bona Dea“ (together with Rainer Friebe), again tours through all socialistic countries.

1985

• I had enough of the GDR and applied for an application to emigrate, according to the last act of the Helsinki conference.

1986

• After one year of profession ban and with lots of luck, my application was approved and I relocated to West Germany.

1987

• To earn my daily bread, I worked as an insurance agent for 4 years, at the same time building up the CICCO-Studio.

1988

• The first „major order“ for the Goethe-Institut, then some commercials and movie productions. Several recordings for labels and artists under the stage name of Vincant Garp.

1992

• Stays in Asia, India and South Africa to study the native music.

1995

• Founding of CICCO-Music-Publishing
• Premiere of „Tucki“, a musical for children, in Prague, later in Belgium, France and finally worldwide.

1996

• Founding of CICCO-Records Label.

1999

• Texts and music for the radio comedy „Schorschi & Friedbert“.

2000

• First CD released, musical style: Chillout, Nujazz, Downbeat, World.

2001

• Cooperation with KDC-CD distribution, Austria, Germany, Switzerland

2002

• Meeting with Unni Raman, important Indian yoga and meditation teacher.

2003

• On-Board music program for Lufthansa

2004

• CD Vol. V released: JOY OF LIFE

2005

• Produktion CD Vol. VI –  Namaste
• Meditaions CD Vol. VII – Vipassana
• Concert program – four elements
• Cooperation with  extradition Silberschnur – Germany, Switzerland
• Cooperation with extradition Dr. Hain – Austria

2006
